Test Kitchen & Equipment Trials

Test Kitchen & Equipment Trials

Before committing to a capital investment, you should know exactly how the equipment performs with your product. DC Norris North America provides North American food manufacturers access to a fully equipped industrial test kitchen at DC Norris Group’s UK facility, where you can evaluate equipment against your actual recipes and processes.

What the Test Kitchen Makes Possible:

Not sure whether a particular cooking or chilling process will work for your product? The test kitchen gives you the opportunity to run your product through full-scale DC Norris equipment before you buy. The performance you experience in the test kitchen is what you get in your facility.

The test kitchen is a working food factory environment, fully serviced with steam, chilled water, compressed air, and electrical power. It is the right environment to develop and refine recipes at production scale, before your line is built.

Once an order has been placed, the test kitchen can be used to conduct full pre-delivery trials on your equipment. This confirms the system is running to specification before it ships, and gives your team the opportunity to train on the equipment in before installation.

The DC Norris UK test kitchen is equipped to run trials across a wide range of food processing applications, including:

  • Kettle Cooking
  • Cook Chill
  • Jet Cook™
  • Sous Vide

How to Book a Trial:

Contact DC Norris North America to discuss your product and process requirements. We will coordinate the trial details with the DC Norris UK team, including scheduling, equipment setup, and any technical preparation needed in advance of your visit.
