DC Norris North America is pleased to welcome George Anderson to the team as Technical Sales Engineer. George brings more than 35 years of experience in the food processing systems industry, with a background spanning strategic solution sales, design, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial leadership.
George started on the technical side of the business, working in process systems and plant design, estimation and consultation, CAD, and automation and controls. That foundation still shapes how he approaches sales today. His process is to get into a customer’s operation, understand the real problem they’re trying to solve, and work through the right solution alongside them, rather than starting from a product and working backward. Solving that kind of problem, and introducing customers to technologies that can genuinely help their operation, is what he says he enjoys most about the work.
Over the course of his career, George has developed new business and built long-term relationships for companies including Alfa Laval, Holland Applied Technologies, and Stainless Technologies. His expertise runs deep across separation technology, membranes, metal fabrication, heat exchange, sanitary and high-purity systems, and process flow products. Many of the relationships he built early in his career are still active today, decades later, a reflection of how he partners with customers over the long term rather than transactionally.
Outside of work, George lives in Oakdale, Minnesota, with his family. He has spent many years coaching youth and AAU girls basketball and staying involved through volunteering. He’s also an avid photographer and traveler, spends time on a range of outdoor activities, and plays drums and writes music in his downtime.
